Seton Hall University is looking for Professional Interns for the Fall 2024-Spring 2025 who will primarily work with Men’s & Women’s Basketball programs. Intern will be integrated in the day-to-day operations of both basketball programs.
Professional Interns duties will be as followed:
-Assist in the set-up and breakdown of lifts
-Assist in the implementation of comprehensive training program: warm-ups, mobility, pre-hab, etc.
-Travel as needed with both basketball programs
-Assist with Red-Shirt & Developmental programs
-Assist in implementation of practice & game-day warm-ups
-Assist in the collection of Force Deck data and excel delivery sheets
-Checking inventory of fueling station & replenishing the station as needed

Interns will have the ability to take part in a comprehensive internship curriculum which will cover topics such as, exercise selection, warm-up, cool-downs, programming & implementation, interns will also take part in coach-teach which will prepare interns for on the floor coaching with cues, progressions, regression of exercises. As part of the curriculum interns will be asked to learn to network with other coaches in the field.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have a strong work-ethic, enthusiasm, and a desire to develop the characteristics necessary to become a successful strength and conditioning coach.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/pursuing a degree in exercise science or a related field and pursuing one of the following certifications: SCCC; CSCS or USAW and a CPR/AED First Aid certification.

Compensation: Compensation to be discussed with Candidates during the interview process.
