Bryant University Sports Performance is accepting applications for Summer 2025 internship positions (May/June-August, specific dates will be discussed at a later time). Bryant University is an NCAA Division I program located in Smithfield, RI, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East and CAA (Football).
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the implementation of the training programs for all teams.
-Assist the Sports Performance staff with the day-to-day operations of the weight room.
-Assist with performance testing of assigned athletes, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Technology opportunites include Catapult GPS, VALD Forcedecks, Smartspeed, Dynamo, and velocity based training systems.
-Other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
This is a non-paid volunteer position. This position will have the opportunity to learn under a MSCC and gain the 640 practicum/internship hours under a CSCCa approved mentor that is required for the SCCC exam.
Qualifications:
-Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field
-Pursuing a SCCC or CSCS certification, and a CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (preferred)
