Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant

Keiser University is currently accepting applications for 2 Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant positions for Fall 2025. The position of Graduate Assistant is responsible for directly assisting the Seahawk strength department in all aspects of developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for 26 NAIA sport programs.
Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to; implement strength and conditioning programs for assigned sport teams, coordinate times for assigned teams around class and team schedules in conjunction with weight room and strength staff, assist with and conduct periodic performance and strength testing, and stay abreast of current trends in the field. Communicate with head coaches about training programs for their teams. Advise coaches on pre-game and pre-practice protocols as well as post activity needs.
1st GA Team Assignments: Lead 2-3 Olympic Sports, heavily assist with football.
2nd GA Team Assignments: Lead Men’s Basketball and Devo Basketball, assist with 1-2 Olympic sports.
Adhere to NAIA rules and be fully informed regarding institutional compliance with the NAIA and Sun Conference rules.
Other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field.
Required- working toward or already obtained CSCS and/or a SCCC coaching credential, CPR/First Aid certification.
Preferred- Previous strength and conditioning experience developing and implementing strength and conditioning programs at the college, high school, private facility; USAW certification.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position includes an 80% tuition waiver, a $950 monthly stipend starting August 1st, 2025 (with the possibility of starting Summer 2025).
