Raised in Greensboro, North Carolina Chris DeSanto played 4 years of collegiate soccer at Lees-McRae College (DII), NC from 2010-2014 where he received his BS in Sports Administration as well as minoring in Sports Science. He is currently the Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning at Lincoln Memorial University (DII), TN. With this role, Coach DeSanto oversees all Strength and Conditioning activities for the Men and Women’s soccer, Men and Women’s Lacrosse as well as Softball Programs. On top of his team responsibilities he also spear heads the mentorship and development of the Graduate Assistant Coaches on Staff.
Before arriving at LMU, he spent two and a half years at Webber International University (FL) under the Direction of Coach Steve Rassel. While there, Coach DeSanto spent time as a Coaching Assistant and completed a nationally recognized mentorship curriculum before being promoted to a full time Assistant. He held the title of Director of Soccer Performance while also overseeing the development of both the Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs and assisting with Football. Coach DeSanto also completed professional internships at the University of Kentucky and Wake Forest University where he worked with all Soccer programs as well as various other Olympic Sports.
Coach DeSanto is a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and an approved mentor from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. He also holds his CSCS through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
