Chris Virtue serves as the Director of Athletic Performance at Indiana University. His impact at Indiana has been profound, with a primary focus on the development and implementation of sport-specific strength and conditioning programming for the Indiana Baseball program as well as all of Indiana University’s athletic programs. Virtue has provided his expertise as the head athletic performance coach for a total of ten different athletic programs, showcasing his comprehensive understanding of elite collegiate athletic performance and collected trust within the Indiana University Athletic Department. In 2022, Virtue achieved the pinnacle of recognition in his field by being awarded the title of Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa). He maintains his high standards through the retention of his Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) accreditation from the CSCCa, as well as serving on the SCCC test committee demonstrating ongoing dedication to professional development within the field of athletic performance.
