Improving Athlete Performance via the Olympic Lifts.

This presentation by Leo Totten will be “hands on” stressing proper techniques of the Olympic lifts to assure optimal translation to what the athlete needs for top performance on the field. This session will focus on the typical technique errors seen in the weight room when utilizing the clean, snatch and jerk. We will be Identifying the errors and how to make the corrections that will make these lifts more safe, more effective, and, ultimately, produce better results in athletic performance. Many coaches already use the Olympic lifts in their training and one of the goals of this talk is to optimize what they are already doing. For those coaches who haven’t used the Olympic lifts yet, we are ready and willing to get them started! (Q&A available after the session at the Totten Training Systems booth)

Leo Totten has been in the strength and conditioning field for over 40 years and has been influential in the training of high school, college and professional athletes and coaches over that time span.
