Scott Brincks started his athletic coaching career at Iowa Wesleyan College where he held a myriad of different positions from assistant football coach to head baseball coach then to the Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator for football. He then transitioned to a role at the University of Kentucky where he served as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for 3 years.
After his time in Kentucky he moved to University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he worked as the Director of Athletics Performance for over 14 years. During his time at UTC, he helped the Mocs athletic programs capture 46 regular season championships and 43 SoCon Tournament titles
Scott Brincks now serves as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for football as well as the swimming and diving program at the University of Richmond. He leads and coordinates all aspects and staff of the Spider Strength and Conditioning program, a sub-section of the Spider Performance & Development department.
