Ed Ellis has over 24 years of experience in the field and 20 years as a head strength and conditioning coach with stops at Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Illinois State, Ole Miss and Arkansas in addition to UCF. He has been a master strength coach since 2003.
Ellis is in his seventh season as Director of Strength and Conditioning at UCF, working directly with the football program while overseeing the strength, speed and conditioning efforts for UCF's 16 sport athletics program.
Ellis served in the same capacity at Georgia Tech from 2001-04. While head strength and conditioning coach at Wake Forest from 1994-2001, Ellis was named the 2000 Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Professional of the Year for the Atlantic Coast Conference by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Prior to his stretch at Wake Forest, Ellis spent four years, from 1991-94, at the head strength and conditioning coordinator at Illinois State and two years (1989-91) as an assistant strength coach at Ole Miss. He began his career as a graduate assistant at Arkansas from 1987-89.
Ellis earned his bachelor's degree in physical education and health from Alabama in 1987 and received a master's degree in education from Arkansas in 1989.
In May of 2003, Ellis was awarded the highest honor in his field of expertise when he was certified as a master strength and conditioning coach (MSCS) at the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Association's third national conference. The title of master strength and conditioning coach represents professionalism, knowledge, experience, expertise as well as longevity in the field.
SCOTT SINCLAIR
Scott Sinclair is in his sixth year at UCF as an assistant director of strength and conditioning. He works with the football program while also training the men's and women's golf teams.
Sinclair came to UCF after working as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Georgia Tech from 2001-03. While with the Yellow Jackets, Sinclair worked as the director of player development for Georgia Tech's football squad. Prior to Georgia Tech, he served as an assistant at Wake Forest from 1999-01.
A native of Rockingham, N.C., Sinclair earned his bachelor's degree in sports medicine from Guliford College in 1999. He received a master's degree in physical education from UCF in 2006.
Sinclair is a member of both the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. Sinclair is also a certified strength and conditioning coach through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
Sinclair and his wife, Farrah, have one son, Creed, and one daughter, Asher.
BJ FAULK
B.J. Faulk is in his sixth season as the strength and conditioning coach for the UCF men's basketball program. He also works with the baseball and football teams at UCF. Faulk has more than 14 years experience in the field and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
Prior to arriving at UCF, Faulk spent five years at Wake Forest, working with the Demon Deacons' baseball, football, men's basketball, women's soccer and volleyball teams. A former track and field athlete at Illinois State, he began his career at his alma mater. The El Paso, Ill., native earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Illinois State in 1995.
TRACY PROSSER
Tracy Prosser enters her fifth year at UCF as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. She works directly with the women's basketball, volleyball and men's and women's soccer teams. Additionally, she assists with the strength and conditioning duties for the football team.
During her time at UCF, Prosser has directly contributed to three different team's championship seasons. Cheer - National Champions 2007; Softball - Conference USA Tournament Champions 2008; and Women's Basketball - Conference USA Tournament Champions 2009.
Prior to UCF, Prosser spent five years at her alma mater, Xavier University. As an assistant at Xavier, Prosser worked with all 16 of the Musketeer athletic teams. During her time at Xavier, the women's basketball and volleyball teams combined for top-4 finishes each year in the Atlantic 10 Conference, three NCAA appearances and two WNIT appearances.
A resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, for 10 years, Prosser earned a bachelor of science degree in health & physical education in 1998. She earned her master of education in sport administration in 2002 from Xavier. During her undergraduate career she was also a member of the Musketeer women's soccer team.
Prosser is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach through the Collegiate and National Strength & Conditioning Associations and Certified Level 1 Coach & Sport Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. She also holds 2 diplomas through the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
BEN FLEMING
Ben Fleming is in his second year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. He supervises the strength and conditioning programs for men's and women's golf, rowing, cross country, men's and women's tennis, and cheerleading.
He is a certified strength and conditioning coach (SCCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) of which he is also a member. He holds a level one coaching certification from USA Weightlifting as well as being Etcheberry Certified by Pat Etcheberry, one of the top tennis and golf strength and conditioning coaches in the world.
Fleming earned a bachelor of science degree in Parks and Recreation Administration from Wingate University where he was also a member of the soccer team. In 2009, he earned a master's degree in Health/Wellness and Applied Exercise Physiology from UCF.
