Keys to Conditioning - Utilizing Data Driven Prescription to Prepare Athletes for Competition
In this lecture, Cronin will review the application of data collection, analytics, personalized strategies, and actionable insight as it pertains to GPS and Heart Rate. Cronin will review the forms of technology used at Colorado College. He will also discuss how Colorado College utilized data from various technologies (GPS and HR) and how that data is applied to training prescription to prepare athletes for the demands of the season and competition. Cronin will review Colorado Colleges conditioning system and how variables are manipulated within that system to create a desired outcome based on actionable insight.
Kevin Cronin, MS, CSCS*D, USAW-1. FMS-1: Has been Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Colorado College since 2012, where he oversees the strength and conditioning programs for all 17 varsity sports and 350 student athletes. Previously, Cronin served as Assistant Strength Coach, Performance Center Coordinator, and Education Coordinator for the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) along with stints at Western Washington University, Stanford University and the University of Texas.
