Keith Ferrara is currently finishing up his fifth year as head strength and conditioning coach at Adelphi University. Previously, he spent 3 years working as a strength and conditioning specialist for the United States Tennis Association, where he worked with America’s top professional and junior tennis players. In 2014 he was hired as the first ever strength and conditioning coach in Adelphi history, responsible for the design of a new facility, scheduling of an entire department, as well as building a working culture for over 400 student athletes. Since then, he has worked with teams that have captured 42 NE-10 regular season and conference championships, as well as two national championships. This year, with the help of a generous donation, Keith, alongside the head athletic trainer, was responsible for starting a refueling station for athletics, where athletes can come throughout the day to pick up protein shakes and bars to supplement their nutritional needs. He is currently responsible for the design, implementation and supervision of programs for 18 teams at Adelphi University.
