Assistant Director of Sports Performance, Wake Forest University
Mark Seaver is in his 12th year as a full time Sports Performance Coach at Wake Forest University and 18th year overall in the Sports Performance Department. As a former student-athlete, Mark played baseball for the Demon Deacons from 1993-1996, before being selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 4th Round of the 1996 Major League Draft. After finishing his degree in 2003 from Wake Forest, Mark started as a volunteer in the Sports Performance Department before being hired full time in December of 2011. He has worked with every team on campus and currently works with Baseball and Women’s Golf as the Assistant Director of Sports Performance. Coach Seaver has had the opportunity to work with many Wake Forest graduates who turned professional golfers, countless Major League Baseball Draft Selections, as well as several Atlantic Coast Conference Champions throughout his coaching career. Mark is certified through the CSCCa and holds certifications through the Titleist Performance Institute and OnBaseU. Mark is from Pittsburgh, PA and currently resides in Winston Salem, NC with his wife, Kelly, his daughter, Emily, and his son Kade.
