Tim Mullen is currently in his 14th season working with Harvard University's student-athletes. Mullen was hired in 2004 and since that time has had the pleasure of working with athletes in the largest Division 1 athletic program in the country. Some of the teams he has trained include football, men's and women's hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, wrestling, men's and women's water polo, sailing, field hockey, alpine skiing and men's and women's swimming and diving. While at Harvard he has also had the privilege to run the internship program since 2008.
Mullen came to Harvard in fall 2004 after earning a master's degree in applied exercise science from Springfield College in 2004. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. While at Springfield, Mullen served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach. He was previously a senior strength and conditioning coach for Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning from 2001-02 and a consultant for the USA Hockey Development program from 2000-02. He was an intern for Athletes' Performance in summer 2004.
Tim and his wife Cecelia reside in Burlington, Massachusetts with his stepson Christian and their daughters Ellie and Grace.
