Brett Crossland

Brett Crossland is currently an Assistant Professor of Exercise Physiology at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, a position he began in 2023. In addition to conducting research and teaching classes he is also responsible for the strength and conditioning program for the men’s soccer program.
Prior to MSU he served as the Head Sports Performance Coach at Texas Woman’s University from 2015 - 2023, while also completing his Ph. D. in kinesiology with a focus on exercise physiology. Before coming to TWU he served as a strength and conditioning coach for the U.S. Army Special forces in Ft. Campbell, KY. As a contract employee he was responsible for training programs for Green Beret soldiers of the 5th group. From 2010-2012 he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Brown University in Providence, RI where he became SCCC certified through the CSCCA. Crossland started his professional career at University of Pennsylvania in 2008 as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning coach.
He completed his Bachelors and Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology from Midwestern State University and his Ph. D. in Kinesiology with a focus in exercise physiology from Texas Woman’s University. Brett resides in Wichita Falls, TX with his wife Ashley and their children Abigail and Benjamin.
