Scott Bird has worked at some of the top universities in the country over his 20 year career. These institutions include the University of Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Ohio State, and the University of Missouri. Coach Bird is now completing his fifth year as Head Strength Coach for Baseball at Kansas State University. During his career, Scott has been fortunate to work with 34 All-Americans, five conference players of the year, and numerous athletes who have gone on to play professionally. Coach Bird has also had the opportunity to be part of two Football National Championships with the University of Oklahoma, as well as five different conference champions in various sports.
Scott would like to thank the many coaches who have been an important part of his life and career. These great strength coaches include Pete Martinelli, Joe Juraszek, Dave Kennedy, Blair Prince, Jerry Schmidt, Jeff Fish, Pat Ivey, Rod Cole, and Chris Dawson. He would especially like to thank Joe Juraszek for showing him the importance of having a great work ethic and of being prepared for anything. He would also like to thank Pat Ivey for teaching him how to think outside the box and of the importance of always striving to be a better person.
Scott is honored to have had the chance to work with many great people and athletes along the way.
