Coach Rogan has been part of the Strength & Conditioning staff at Cornell since 2012, and the Assistant Director since 2019. She currently oversees women’s lacrosse, women’s basketball, field hockey, and gymnastics. Rogan also assists with men’s basketball and football.
Rogan’s teams have claimed Ivy League championships, USAG Championships, and made NCAA appearances. She has coached over 30 All Americans, over 20 First Team All-Ivy Athletes, 5 Player of the Year athletes. She has led teams and individuals to multiple records including all-time leading scorers in women’s basketball and field hockey and all-time record holders in gymnastics.
In the spring of 2021, Rogan received the Gatorade/CSCCa Young Achievement Award, given to an up-and-coming coach in the field who has a well-rounded, holistic approach to conditioning with a knowledge of science, nutrition, and communications in addition to basic conditioning. Rogan is the first woman to ever receive the award.
Outisde of coaching, Rogan has also served on the CSCCa National Conference Speaker Selection Committee since 2022. She also engages with female identifying student-athletes across all varsity teams at Cornell University, cofounding a program called SAGE (Sport and Gender Equity), which provides education and programming to young women athletes.
Rogan is a 2010 graduate of Binghamton University where she graduated with a B.S. in Human Development, and a 2011 graduate of Ithaca College with an M.S. in Exercise Physiology. During her undergraduate career, she was a four-year member of the women’s lacrosse team, serving as captain her senior year. Rogan has her SCCC certification through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association, her CSCS certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and is a certified sports performance coach through USA Weightlifting.
