High Performance: Programming and Managing the Training Process
Erik Korem serves as the High Performance Coach for the University of Kentucky Football team. At UK Erik is responsible for the total development of team operations of a physical, mental, technical/tactical and rehabilitative nature. Prior to coming to UK Erik was the Director of Sports Science and Football Operations at Florida State. While at FSU Erik began tracking and managing the technical/tactical player loads using athlete tracking technology. Erik is now considered to be the leading authority on athlete tracking for American Football by Catapult Sports.
Prior to Erik's role as the Director of Sports Science at FSU, Erik worked as a full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach for seven years, serving in various roles at both the Division II and FBS level.

In addition to his work on the collegiate level, Erik has been a Track and Field Coach/Consultant for numerous International Champions. For the past 9 years Erik as served as the High Performance Coach for Veronica Campbell-Brown, and most recently coached her in Istanbul, Turkey to a World Championship in the 60m.
Erik is the husband to Hayle Korem and has a one year old son named Cooper Jet Korem.
